Customer Reviews: Polishing Pad   October 15, 2008 Glenn Smith (Columbus, Ohio United States) I purchased this with a Makita 7" polisher to buff out scratches and new paint on car bumpers. This pad fits the machine. Quickly learned how to load it by applying polishing compound on the car and working into it so the polish is pulled down into the pad. Pad produces a nice glossy shine. It is easy to clean by simply washing it out. It is durable. I have used it for approx. 10 hours. No signs of wear. This pad will take out small scratches but is not intended to use on deeper scratches. I purchased an "orange" pad for that purpose. Good pad. Good price. Good results.
