Toyota Oil Filter Wrench February 5, 2010 J. Ellis If you can change your own oil, this absolutely necessary tool will help. It's the exact tool that Toyota uses. Don't even try the plastic versions, they don't work at all.
Toyota Oil Filter Wrench November 3, 2009 Jarrett L. Cooper I use it on my 07 Toyota Tundra and 09 Camry. Exactly what I needed since the cheap ones you buy in walmart or auto zone just don't cut it.
Toyota Avalon Oil Filter Wrench October 14, 2009 X. Liu (VA) This filter wrench fits 2009 Corolla. It needs a 24 mm wrench to turn it.
Good Oil Filter Wrench October 13, 2009 Robert A. Brown (Phoenix, AZ) It works, it's great, dispite all the negative things I read about changing the oil on the new Corolla, I had no difficulty, but it would be difficult without the wrench
2009 Corolla October 6, 2009 Rixsky Bought this after researching the web for something that would fit the goofy, plastic oil filter cover on my 2009 Corolla. Was very disappointed the first time I went to change oil in it and realized it didn't have a 'regular' oil filter, easily accessible, like on my 5 previous Toyotas. I had some old filter wrenches that were close to fitting, but chewed up the plastic a bit. Bought one of the plier-type wrench things (looks like a big set of channel-locks), but it was disappointing too.
Haven't used this one yet, but I did crawl under the car as soon as I got it, for a fit check, and it was just about perfect...so I'm expecting that at least that part of oil changes will be a whole lot easier. Still have the pain of having to drive the car up on ramps, just to get to the bottom of the engine where the filter is....
