Zip! June 1, 2008 Dan Kuttner Zip, Zip, Zip! My 2005 Outback XT has some extra ZIP! I have also logged 2mpg better mileage(pretty good considering all the extra zipping!). Fit perfectly and took 5 minutes, including the time it took to find a screw driver. Service was great- free shipping & I got it 3 days earlier than projected!
just too easy February 20, 2008 S. Johnson
dropped directly into my 2008 WRX with about 20 seconds of work. Can't go wrong with the K&N :)
K&N Air Filter August 13, 2007 Robert Dickerson (Denver, Colorado) Nothing much new to report on the K&N filter, still the best air filter you can buy. Quality and product consistency have remained at their same high standard for many years. I've run these in my Acura, Porsche, Subaru and Ducati all with outstanding results.
Only Slightly Better than Stock Filter May 13, 2007 M. Vance (TN) The main advantage of the K&N 33-2304 Replacement Air Filter is its long life. I haven't noticed much, if any, improvement in gas mileage or power since installing this filter in my 2005 Subaru Outback XT (2.5L Turbo). The filter fits well and does its job, but doesn't add anything extra. The only way to justify the high cost is if you know you'll keep the filter long enough to take advantage of its long life.
Long-term satisfaction January 3, 2007 John H. Mead (New Hampshire) No improvement in gas mileage has been noted during the first 5,000 miles. However, since I intend to keep this particular vehicle for several more years, cleaning the filter, rather than replacing it, will eventually result in savings to offset the initial expense.
