Increased power but hurts fuel economy February 10, 2008

I have used the K&N filter for the HCH2 for several weeks now. The filter really improves the power of the car across the rpm range, esp. the initial acceleration from a stop. However, the mileage has dropped approximately 1 km/l, probably due to the increased tendency to "rev" the engine given the new found power!
Recommended for those who wish to improve their car's power and don't mind the decreased fuel economy.
