| Customer Reviews:
I had my doubts. June 22, 2008 Gimmetarts (Orange County, CA) I've got a 1996 Ford Thunderbird 4.6L SOHC V8. I consistently get 20-21 average MPG over the course of a tank of gas. With the Tornado, it has increased to 22-23 average MPG. Most of my driving is highway at speeds from 50-95 MPH on the Los Angeles freeways as crazy as they are. I had my doubts at first, and I read all the reviews that said this thing was a waste of money. I figured it was $40.00 so WTF. It has worked out for me so far, especially with gas here in LA at $4.55/gallon.

Installed on a 93 land cruiser. I have seen no real change in vehicle performance. I feel like it may actually hinder air flow. However, I did install it with some other small modifications as well. I'm going to take it out and see if there is any change. I'll post if results are significant. otherwise, this product probably isn't worth it. If a small thing like this makes so much difference why wouldn't they build them in cars already. also, high performance after market intakes never have something like his built in either. It may work on some cars because of their specific design, but its slightly questionable.
Disappointed in product February 9, 2008 C. Bundy (Pataskala, OH USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased the Tornado for my 2002 Ford Windstar. I have had it on the car for a month and haven't noticed any increase in my gas mileage. At least the gas mileage didn't get worse. My driving habits/destinations haven't changed and I still get 20 mpg. I wouldn't recommend the Tornado.

Overall, a good buy for the money. Does give me an extra mile per gallon, which is good for the current oil market. As far as power, I don't feel much of a gain.
