They replace your engine's stock air cleaner or airbox with a low-restriction K&N filter assembly that increases airflow to your engine. And as we all learned in Hot Rod 101, more air means more power--up to 19 more horsepower. Plus, the filters can be covered by up to 1/8 in. of debris before air restriction makes cleaning necessary. The kits include an air filter assembly, a plenum (where applicable), mounting hardware, and instructions.

Install was easy, instructions clear. MPG did go up a small amount, about 4/10, maybe a 1/2. Same with performance, very small gain, but noticeable. It's a little loud during hard acceleration or up hills. Happy with product.
