The dealer wanted $60 for replacing the air filter at my last service B on my C230 Sport. While I was in the waiting room, I got online (using their free wifi) and found this filter for less than that. Plus, it's basically a "forever" air filter! So I got it in the mail, took off the housing, and that's when I see two air intakes which have a filter for each side. Not such a good deal at first anymore, but it will pay for itself, just not as quick as I thought it would.

Filter has a lifetime service life with regular cleaning. There is a small performance gain and with the 3.0L engine it is not wasted. This filter does not permit undue intake noise or resonance I have had great experience with K&N products.
