I jumped on these because they were so much cheaper than the high-end models offered by manufacturers such as CRG. Upon receiving and installing them, I can see some of the areas in which they fall short. Primarily, the outer quarter inch or so of the reflection is quite distorted. Thankfully, the majority of the reflected image is clear, but it takes a little getting used to. Secondly, the installation wasn't perfectly straightforward, in that one of them tightened up perfectly, while the other needed to be removed and reinstalled multiple times before it was secure. Finally, I'm finding that one of the mirrors seems to migrate from the position I've left it in when traveling @ freeway speeds. I'm going to try to torque it down [again] to see if that fixes the problem.
Despite these complaints, I'd still say it's hard to beat the price. If you're on a budget and dealing with mirrors that don't provide a good view for you, these are still a great value.
If it matters, these are installed on an '02 Suzuki SV650.

Bar end mirrors to me are ideal for cafe racer style bikes. These mirrors are good quality, and easy to install. No cutting required. Reflection is good, a slight distort, but easy to get used to. zero vibration and mirrors stay in place perfect. Definately recommend.
