Leater covered shift knob September 11, 2008 V. Songrady (Mid-Atlantic area) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's just perfect. I couldn't be happier with it. A MOMO for triple the price could come close (possibly) at best, but I find those too big anyway, never mind the cost. Cast metal with heft, not too big, excellent quality top grain leather, (not some vinyl coated cheap, split junk), the thin padding between the leather and metal knob itself is nice. It's in a roadster convertible, never heats-up in the sun to be too hot to touch - like those uncovered solid metal knobs. In real life it looks much better than the picture. The plastic insert adapters come unthreaded, that might be an issue for some people, I precut the threads with threadcutter, but the threads on the metal shaft of the shifter will cut their own threads into the semi-soft adapter - as intended by the manufacturer.
