I'm still glad I didn't fork out the money for a DEI alarm but there is a couple things that might turn people off. The remote seems to have problems communicating with the alarm about 15% of the time. Even 10 feet from the car and I have the antenna mounted on the windshield. The siren is very weak. I would guess about 80db. Ill be swapping that out soon. But besides those two things it has a lot of features and the best thing I like is that the remote displays the feature # you are programing on or off. The status LED really is a ultra bright LED. Unlike the DEI alarm I bought once that advertised that on the box. The wire diagram includes instructions on how to connect the different kinds of key less entry systems to the on board relays.
