| Customer Reviews: Get it cheaper at Harbor Freight Tools August 23, 2010 Jared Walker Same jack can be had at Harbor Freight Tools (Branded US General) for around $70 depending on what sales they have going on and you can get a 2 year warranty for $10 that will cover a one time replacement. Seems pretty sturdy, lightweight and looks nice. Low profile, so if your car is lowered you wont have a problem.
Ive only used it once, but I have high hopes for it.
Remember, NEVER crawl under a car with just a jack holding it up, regardless of the quality or how much you paid for it. ALWAYS use jack stands.
Price and weight tops! May 18, 2010 Richard Neva 0 out of 4 found this review helpful
I would not consider any other place to shop but Amazon for most of my shop and entertainment needs by the way. This particular jack will go into my classic 1950 Lincoln Cosmopolitan sedan replacing that lame factory upright jack that came with all vintage cars and even today I suppose. They are useless of course and tend to shift when you have to raise the car on an incline. I have been in that spot with that 4800 LB whale I drive for pleasure and I swore never again. As part of my redo on the trunk area which took on some rust I am replacing that awful factory jack with this one and I hope it never comes out of the box!
