Great build quality but still too tall for lowered vehicle(s) September 24, 2008 isdereks (Seattle, WA United States) I purchased these ramps after reading a number of positive reviews online. Unlike some of the cheap looking variants sitting on the shelves at the local express auto store, these Rhino Ramps are of exceptional quality. Users will notice that each ramp feels very solid / stable with rubber stops on the underside (to help reduce the likelihood of each slipping). I read some reviews stating that these ramps worked well for [even] lowered vehicles. Those claims are true depending on how far out your front bumper is from the front wheels. My vehicle (VW R32) has a little over 5" of clearance [from ground to front lip]. These Rhino Ramp 8000's are still too tall to allow my vehicle from rolling up without the use of additional extensions. -1 stars for being somewhat inconvenient in that the two ramps can not be stacked or stored with a minimal footprint.
Great value for the money July 6, 2008 W. C. Willis (Alabama) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these ramps so I could get under my Firebird, the metal ramps are too steep. So far the Rhino Ramps have performed great, even though they could be a little more sturdy. I haven't had any of the sliding problems mentioned above, but I also use mine mostly on grass. You could probably buy a nonslip rubber mat to put under them to keep them from sliding on concrete. For $35 I can't complain too much.
Good and strong June 18, 2008 P. Monaghan (Jersey Shore) Nothing to complain about. It does what it says without any problems. I even had a Malibu sitting on the edge and it thankfully didn't crack. I hope it will hold up in the cold as it has in the summer.
Reasonably Strong June 13, 2008 TT Lu (Houston, Texas, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This plastic thing distort slightly under a Camry but it holds. I do not know how it would holds overtime and there was no information about it. Everyone know that plastic things decay overtime.
