Outstanding Brake Controller June 20, 2008

This was my first and only experience with a brake controller. I am certainly no expert, but I really like this product. It is easy to use, and easy to install. I can stop while towing my camper just as well as I can with no camper on the truck. This thing really works well. I think anyone looking for a brake controller will be well pleased with this product.

This trailer brake control is more advanced than the ones at the local auto store. You usually have to go to a specialty shop for this, where you don't get a good price (unless you are a regular customer). I already had the factory installed brake package on my SUV, so it was super easy to install. I just had to splice 4 wires together. It is also easy to set up. You do not have to reset for different weight loads either, just a push of the button will adjust from empty to heavy loads. The feature I like the most is that it works proportionaly. If you just lightly touch the brakes, it only activates lightly and vice-versa. This makes for smooth stops. I think this is worth the money.
