Liquid Invisible Stitch: For rips, tears, cuts in just about any type of material. Waterproof and permanent. We call it Liquid Stitch because this repair adhesive is just like an invisible repair job for rips, cuts, tears, "L" shaped damages, whether large or small. Just apply Liquid Stitch under the edges, and over the damage spot. Cover with grain paper, and allow to dry. The damaged spot will look almost like new. It will not get larger...you will not notice it. Liquid Stitch can be used fon any type of canvas, leather and vinyl. And, it's waterproof. With a tear in a leather couch seat pillow I purchased this repair bonder. Since this was a large tear caused by my one of my dogs, I also searched the net to find black leather pieces. I ended up buying a 12lb box of leftover black leather pieces. Now I am ready for more dog challenges. The pieces were stiffer and thicker than my couch pillow covering. Since the couch had been relegated to the "theater" room I used the Liquid Stitch to to adhere a leather piece to the pillow. While the Liquid Stitch is transparent, it is not invisible and appears shinier than my shiny pillow leather. Instructions say to use a piece of material to adjust the pattern of the adhesive. I did not do that. It's in a dark theater room and I don't think my butt will notice. I haven't test the product's durability.
