Boat owner/ fisherman February 17, 2010 James F. Cross (Hampton, Virginia, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Very good product and extremely great price. Use it on my boat engine during storage in the winter. Keeps manifolds from freezing and water pump the same. I put one on my well holding tank as well.
magnetic heater February 15, 2010 S. Daniels (upstate new york) Multi purpose, used on snowblower, lawnmower, antique tractor, waterline in barn. I like its versitility, but this is my second one as the first gave out after only one and a quarter winters.
Magnetic engine heater (Auto) February 6, 2010 G. Boyce (Southern MD, US) Used two of these heaters on my small block stored in an unheated garage. Results were outstanding! Using two small heaters allow placement on both sides of the lower block and are more than sufficient to maintain engine safely down to low teens.
Looks Like this Will do the Job January 31, 2010 William A. Parmley 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Fortunately I haven't had to use this heater yet, but I have tested it and it looks like it will do what I want. I bought it mostly because we have a PTAC (heat pump) on our sunroom that has a fan that will get clogged with ice once or twice a year if it rains from the right direction and then the temperature drops below freezing. This heater should be adequate to thaw out the sump so I can siphon out the rainwater. It is also compact enough to fit on the oil pan of my small diesel tractor should I need to use it there.
easy to install very warm block heater November 27, 2009 M. Weigel (Ironwood, MI) Worked perfectly out of the box. Gets my home generator engine quite warm. I live where it gets down to 30 below. I really need this to keep my emergency generator in condition to start when it is cold. The magnet is no wuss. It adheres very well to the engine.
